A brand new Swatch x Audemars Piguet “Royal Pop Orenji Hachi” pocket watch, reference SSX03L103N, combining the unmistakable design language of the Royal Oak with Swatch’s playful contemporary approach. Finished in deep navy blue with vivid orange accents throughout, this highly distinctive release features a textured tapisserie-effect dial with luminous hands and hour markers coated in Grade A Super-LumiNova® for excellent visibility. The octagonal Bioceramic bezel and matching crown draw direct inspiration from Audemars Piguet’s legendary Royal Oak design, while the contrasting orange hexagonal screws create a bold and instantly recognisable aesthetic.
At the heart of the watch is a newly developed hand-wound SISTEM51 mechanical movement, redesigned specifically for the Royal Pop collection, with a traditional Lépine-style layout and the crown positioned at 12 o’clock. The sapphire crystal benefits from anti-reflective treatment and enhanced scratch resistance, while the transparent sapphire caseback showcases the movement alongside a vibrant Pop Art-inspired print and a visible mainspring barrel power-reserve display.
Completing the piece is a premium navy calfskin leather lanyard with contrasting orange stitching, offering a fresh and collectable interpretation of one of modern horology’s most talked-about collaborations.
